A Trip to the Zoo

GJ, Grandaddy, Jason and Reese came into town to visit us.  We started our time together by eating lunch at McAlister's.  We then went to the zoo, and had a blast visiting the exhibits.  Our day was completed with an ICEE!

Happy 1st Birthday Hampton!

We celebrated Hampton's first birthday party at our house.  The them was frogs and the colors were aqua and green.  I had the best time planning for his party!  This was a hard day for me because my baby was no longer a little baby.  I am so glad that God blessed us with such a sweet baby!

PJs with Santa

We all went to the Junior League of Columbia's PJ's with Santa. The boys had fun because they go to see Cocky, eat dinner and snacks and visit with Santa. Then the boys went with David to watch the Polar Express while I did a little shopping.

Aboard the Polar Express

We started the Christmas season by going to Bryson City, NC  with Jonathan, Temple and Reese, and renting a cabin for the weekend.  While there, we boarded the Polar Express.  This is such a special event for a family because we do it every year.  The train ride begins with songs, including Coleman's personal favorite, "Hot Chocolate".  Then the conducter came by our seat to punch our tickets.  After he punched our tickets, we began to following along reading the Polar Express.  After we read the story, we arrived at the North Pole, and we picked up Santa and one of his elves.  On the train ride back to Bryson City, we sang Christmas carols and received a visit from Santa and his elf. Upon his visit, he presented us with a silver bell.  What a wonderful weekend to open our hearts for the Christmas season!

Soccer's End of the Season Party

This year we were on a soccer team with a lot of our friends and Mr. Clint as our coach.  It was a tough year because most of the kids were 4 years old, but we were put in the U06 league.  We had young players, but it will make us stronger in the end.  We ended our season with a party in Justin's Place, which is located in the YMCA.  Cousin Reese even came to watch Coleman!

Happy Halloween

I started Halloween by taking Coleman to preschool.  As soon as I dropped him off, I parked the car, so that I could watch the costume parade.  After the costume parade, I went to his class to help host the Halloween party.  I was in charge of the sweet snack, and I chose to bring cupcakes.  After the snack, I went to the multipurpose room to "man" the go fish game.  Hampton was with me, so he hid behind the wooden go fish board and played with everything that he could find within his site.  After preschool was over, we ate lunch at Mellow Mushroom.  After Mellow Mushroom, we stopped by Cynthia Pace Photography for a quick Halloween picture.  We then went home to get ready for Charlie's Halloween party.  We went to the party and ate lots of goodies that everyone had prepared.  Finally, we went trick-or-treating.  We rode around mostly on a golf cart with 3 others families, which was a hoot!   What a fun day and evening with neighbors and  friends!

Happy 4th Birthday Coleman!

We had a party for some of Coleman's friends at our house. The theme was pirates, and we decorated the garage and had a bounce house/slide combo set up in the driveway. Coleman had a blast because all of his best friends were at his house at one time. It is hard to believe that our sweet little boy is now 4!

Boo at the Zoo

We had a great time with the Woodalls at Boo at the Zoo.  This was a trick or treat event at Riverbanks Zoo.  We even got to see some of the animals, which made it super exciting for Breelan and Coleman. We stayed for almost 3 hours, and then we went to Fuddruckers to feed all of our hungry bellies!

We Love Disney World!

We left Columbia on Tuesday afternoon around 4 pm, and we arrived in Orlando at 11 that evening.  I think we only made one stop the whole way down.  On Wednesday, we visited Magic Kingdom.  Coleman's first experience with the characters was during the parade.  He was horrified of all characters before we went down to Orlando.  During the parade, he was happy watching from a distance.  That night we went to Crystal Palace, and Coleman was very upset.  He finally went up to Tigger, and from that point on, he was not scared of ANY characters.  On Thursday, we had breakfast with characters at Cafe De May.  It was a walk from our hotel.  We then visited Hollywood Studios.  That night we ate dinner in our hotel with the characters at Garden Grove.  The food was awesome at Garden Grove!  On Friday, we visited Magic Kingdom again.  Magic Kingdom was a lot of fun for Coleman and Hampton.  That night we ate a character meal at Garden Grove.  On Saturday morning we ate a character breakfast at Cafe De May, and then we headed home.  We cannot wait to return!

As soon as we entered Magic Kingdom, we had to get a picture!

Happy 3rd Birthday Cade!

We celebrated Cade's firetruck themed birthday party at his house.  The decorations were so cute!  Coleman especially enjoyed the party favors and helping opening gifts.  Both boys had a blast spending time with Cade.  Happy 3rd Birthday Cade!

Our First Soccer Game

We had our first soccer game, and Coleman had a blast.  He is actually playing U06 this year, which makes me a little nervous because his age group is truly U04.  Several of his good buddies are on the team, so that makes it very worth playing!

Happy 7 Month Birthday Hampton

It is so hard to believe that Hampton is 7 months old.  He is enjoying being outside, and doing activities that big brother enjoys doing.
